Camaro 1972 RS project, page 2The Camaro StoryThis is what the Camaro looked like in 2005 after 16 years in a barn and after getting a wash-down and some sunlight in the Swedish springtime.Isn't this model great! It has all the nice hot rod features: frenched headlights, a nice sexy grille, small "nerf bar" bumpers, almost clean shaved out of the factory, nosed, and great round rear lights. The prices for the second generation Camaros are still very low, but I am sure within a couple of years these cars will be far more appreciated. The wire wheel inserts from Cragar had some serious rust and were sent to Wheel Heaven. There will be other wheels coming, probably 18 inch, so that was an easy sacrifice. Next step was to organize my new garage and to start ordering the performance parts. To be continued........with the rebuilding project starting 30 March 2008 |
